April 21, 2019]<\/strong> Al Centro Rizoma del Migrante (<a href=\"https:\/\/rhizomecenter.org\/es\/\">www.rhizomecenter.org<\/a>) is excited to announce Jorge Ramirez\u2019s addition as Technology Strategist and newest member of the Advisor Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jorge is a Mexican media artist and technologist based in Guadalajara. Since 2004, Jorge has developed an intermedia body of work traversing architecture, art, sound, science, and design. In 2012, Jorge founded the international multi-platform known as ANEMONAL (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.anemonal.org\">www.anemonal.org<\/a>) to promote, explore, and establish networks through art, science, and technology hybrid projects. In 2017, he was selected by Ciudad Creativa Digital to curate and produce all technological art content for <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Guadalajara\u2019s UNESCO Media Art City submission, which was later accepted<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe are ecstatic to have Jorge join our cause at a time when he is exploring ways to incorporate community-driven design and technology as a tool for social change,\u201d said Tran Dang, founder of The Rhizome Center for Migrants. \u201cJorge\u2019s addition promises to invigorate our work empowering migrant communities, while harnessing Guadalajara&#8217;s position as a development and innovation city.\u201d<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Guadalajara, Jal.
